Much of what you will be looking for here, you will find on our
Construction Services and Maintenance page. What we would
however like to address here, for the most part,  are the services
we offer to first time as well as experienced buyers and owners of
property in Mexico. Our goal is to provide services to individuals
and companies who desire to invest and/or live here. The services
we offer pre-sale, for many, may make the difference in their
decision to invest, and post-sale, in their success in whatever
venture or lifestyle they intend to pursue.

Life and conditions here are always in a state of change and
despite our years of experience here, we too, are constantly
learning and adapting to the demands, as well as the rewards of
our wonderful life here and the benefits and rewards it holds for
those of us ready for the adventure. That said, living abroad
from which ever country you were born and raised in, may not
ultimately be for everyone. We'll do all we can to facilitate your
transition and success in whatever venture or lifestyle you
choose but you,of course, will ultimately decide for yourself if the
benefits outweigh the costs. For many, if not all of us, the
benefits are many, varied, and extremely gratifying. We hope
and will work conscientiously to make your dreams and goals a
realty as well.

Considerations for Country Life...in Mexico

Our clients, be they city, coastal, or rural investors, may all
benefit from some or many of the services we offer. Many of the
more adventurous, visionary perhaps, are considering, or have
chosen , a life and venture off the beaten path. These would be
our rural property investors primarily and while  they tend to
have a high potential for saving money on purchase costs and
return on investment, they also may have more of an initial
challenge adapting and getting started in this definitely (for
most) unique and exciting environment. This  following section is
primarily for you, the rural investor.

It's definitely true that most folks in Mexico, as in most countries
really, will do all they can to help you regardless of your
language proficiency as long as they perceive that you are trying
and have at least some minimal  interest (respect ?) in their
culture. Of course, it's one thing to struggle through a lunch
menu  or directions to the nearest cyber-cafe or bank. It may be
quite another to come here planning to do business or buy and
run a farm or ranch or even remodel a house in the City without
a decent to extensive language
AND cultural experience under
your belt. The alternative is to get the help you may need from
reliable sources who can support your efforts until you can do so
on your own. Logical but not always as easy as we would hope for
the neophyte or new-comer....

?Se habla Espanol?  (Do you speak Spanish?) Spanish and Maya
are the two dominant languages here. Unlike Merida or Cancun,
practically
no one speaks English here...except on our Rancho
Santa Cruz, of course! One of the advantages of being neighbors
with us either immediately next door or even in the local vicinity
is that we can help get you started and even help you manage
whatever operation or lifestyle you choose to pursue. From
simply translating for you to setting you up with the appropriate
contractors, laborers, agriculturalists, technicians, engineers
and others, we can help you develop the life you want but which
might take you many more years ...and dollars...to achieve on
your own, whether you speak "fluently", your Spanish is rusty, a
"work in progress", or you are just starting with the basics.

Where ever you are with your Spanish today, you will definitely
and ultimately  need it to succeed here, or almost anywhere else
in Latin America, not only to survive, but to also open cultural,
experiential, and to be sure... economic doors that will otherwise
simply not be available to you without the language and ...the
cultural savy that comes with it over time. Are you up for that?
Can you be patient enough with yourself to be satisfied with the
"baby steps" we all started out with and, even after years, still
return to from time to time?

What does this have to do with the price of land?  Everything!
No matter the cost of the land or even the money you are
prepared to invest in it, what it all boils down to is goals or
"dreams" or, at least at some level, a hope for a better, different,
and/or more profitable life. Hard to put a price on a dream but we
feel that side of your "cost-benefit analysis" must include these
intangibles if you are to succeed. And your success is our success.

Even at the risk of "raining on your proverbial parade", we will
always try to give you all of the info you need to make an
informed and intelligent decision. We try to provide that
perspective, based upon our own experiences including successes
and especially our failures and setbacks.

Speaking of costs and benefits, we are inherently friendly and
helpful, and, we hope, generous people. We will gladly help
almost anyone, even complete strangers, whenever possible. That
said, we of course have our own goals and expenses  and
therefore even our friends and potential neighbors need to
understand that we will necessarily need to charge something for
much, if not all, of our time and assistance and labor on their
behalf.

We will always be fair and up front. We will always give options
on how to save money and time. We will always try and share
expenses, as well as discounts we receive, so that benefits accrue
to all concerned. We will do our best to eliminate unwelcome
surprises.  We will also always work to identify ways to share in
profit making strategies and projects so that everyone wins.

We are about sustainable resource and land use. It works the
same way in business and friendships: You have to put back or
into at least as much as you take out or profit from or the
proverbial as well as literal well runs dry. Your success is our
success. Period.

Our main site and the references we have mentioned above
should also provide you with a wealth of basic but essential info
in the meantime as well. Also remember to check out our

www.MayaNeem.org
site for more specifics on the plantation and
rural possibilities and living here in general..
