Below left, covered sheep installation with additional vaqueros cottage behind .  Owners
report this facility safely accommodating from 300-400 head of tropical sheep. Feeding and
watering stations also visible below.
Below, cattle tick bath station. Owners report that due to increased price of chemicals used
in this procedure, ranchers are now finding it more efficacious using 15-20 liter back-pack
style agricultural sprayers to apply repellent, including organic Neem, instead of using the
tick baths. For more on the Neem tree and organic products visit:

Rancho Pedrigal is divided into 35  "potreros"  or
divisions with a varying but average size of
approximately 15 hectares each. It is further divided and
surrounded  by well kept access roads which allow easy
access to almost every part of the main ranch plus its
two annexes, the total of which adds up to Pedrigal's
impressive 447 hectares or roughly 1100 acres.

The owners report that the are at least 7-8 Cenotes on
the property in addition to their 2 deep wells and at least
2 traditional artisanal wells on the property.
Arriving at the 1st of 2 additional annexes
below, we see the vaquero's house, still more
corrals, feeding and watering stations,
plusthe deep well which is actually an access
to one of the the rancho's numerous cenotes....
There are approximately 300 head of cattle on the ranch currently. The owner, also an
accountant, is working up details and asking prices based upon current market conditions for
the entire lot which he would prefer to sell with the ranch at an additional but reasonable cost.
We should have those details in the next few days and will post them, along with the details, or
send them to prospective clients by email upon request. FYI, the resident Vaquero estimates
that there are between 1-3 calves born on the ranch, from this herd,....daily.
Arriving on a different day, when the cattle were present, it was nevertheless time for them to
head out to pasture. The Vaquero, Don Isidro, was kind enough to close the gates so that we
could get a closer look before the rest headed out to forage. Ah, those Yucatecan cloud shows!
Above, "baby bull", or new born "Torito", and right
the "Papa Bull", with all due respect, "El Toro".
Below, and finally, we come to a glimpse of the 3rd and final annex. It shows that it has been
neglected and that is a reflection of several family illnesses that have provided the impetus
for the sale of this property and it's herd. Nevertheless, it will take very little to bring this,
and the entire rancho, back into full and/or even a greatly expanded production, depending
upon the buyer's goals and vision. Meantime, we have included a brief tour below.
Above, the large circular corral of the 2nd annex with feeding and watering station. The
watering station was filled from the two storage tanks (mid photo) by a gas-motorized
pump which was plumbed into a deep and large cenote one can barely make out due to my
lens and lack of late afternoon light. The opening  could be widened  and, it appeared, a
small boat or canoe could be introduced into the large cavern below. No one knows how far
the cave extends or how deep the cenote may be as it still remains to be even partially
explored. This is one of those occasions where without a properly functioning flash and
appropriate lens, "the photo just does NOT do the subject matter justice"....
In Summary:

This is a rare and interesting property with virtually unlimited potential to
bring the right buyer satisfaction, profit, and a varied and sustainable land use
that simply would not be available on many smaller properties and/or properties
with fewer, obvious, positive advantages and attributes. And, it has the added
great advantage and potential of being a turn-key operation which means at
some or several levels the beginning of "return on investment" from day one if
the terms which serve both buyer and seller can be arrived at.

Please contact us at your earliest convenience for more information and to
schedule an in-person tour of this magnificent property.

We look forward, as always, to being of service!
